For original brand products and the exclusive brand products of our clients, we check the product specifications for raw materials, allergens contained, nutritional ingredients, etc., and confirm that the content of the labeling on the product package complies with food-related laws and regulations. This also includes investigating trademarks for product names and slogans.
We also help contract manufacturing plants to improve quality through factory audits and guidance on improvements when product defects occur.
The Customer Service Center responds to inquiries from consumers via telephone, e-mail and letters.

When we outsource the manufacture of original brand and other products to a manufacturer, we conduct a factory audit in advance to confirm that the factory can guarantee the safety and quality of the products. During the audit, we use our own check sheet based on the JFS-B standard, a food safety certification standard, to inspect the factory from various perspectives, such as hygiene, organizational structure, and existence of rules and records in the factory. When a product is ready, we always receive some of the first batch of products for tasting, and carefully check the packaging condition and other factors as well.

In addition to proactively communicating with existing contract manufacturing plants on a regular basis, we regularly invite quality control staff from contract manufacturing plants to participate in our seminars, where we introduce examples of initiatives taken by other manufacturers to improve their level of management. We also share feedback from the Customer Service Center among the development, manufacturing, and sales departments. In these and other ways we are working to improve the labeling and products to better suit the tastes of consumers.
